P è n i n s o l a r
A blessed servitude to the mysterious and most delightfully oblique myriad (quadratus lumborum) of sonic pleasures produced by two musicians working remotely, one of which, a most endearing friend to all.
Intrinsically entranced to say that not only is this a great album, it's a testament & isotope to the elevation of human consciousness..
The Hauchzart Ensemble are a transatlantic duo consisting of Wilfried Hanrath and Matt Getchell. They live in different time zones, so when Wilfried goes to bed Matt gets up to start his day and vice versa.
And still they find their ways to create music together...
Matt is a Portland, Oregon based musician, deeply engaged in the local synth – scene and member of the Portland Synth Improvisors Collective.
Wilfried is a Wuppertal, Germany based musician, member of an Improvisers Orchestra and a rockband dedicated to free improvisation, active in many projects and constantly busy with his solo works.
Matt creates wonderful synth sounds and melodies and sends them to Wilfried, who takes them apart and puts them together again and composes and arranges the music for them. And sometimes inviting other musicians for collaborations.
They have released one album so far - Calicomb - and are happy to get their second one released by the French label Camembert Électrique
