Flavour was born in the fall of 1997 in Acquasparta, in the province of Umbria.
Between summer and autumn 1997, Nicola Cruciani, guitar and vocals and Giovanni Armadoro, keyboards and vocals, members of the local group Noises Off, meet for pure pleasure in the rehearsal room with two other companions, Francesco Francia, drums and vocals, and Paolo Feliciotti, bass and vocals.
Quickly the group takes shape.
The four call on a music teacher and composer, Pasquale Damiano, who gives them the first harmonic and rhythmic basics.
In this period of study and artistic growth, the first compositions were born which combined covers of Lou Reed, Pink Floyd, Beatles and JJ Cale in the live repertoire.
Taking a path oriented towards the sounds of krautrock and with a personal reinterpretation of the compositional styles of Pink Floyd's first production, Flavor created between 2008 and 2011 the experimental or “pink” quadrilogy mixing psychedelia, minimalism, progressive rock, ambient, electronic , post rock, avant-garde and experimental.
"Madamadama" pushes experimentation and avant-garde to the extreme, alternating with more acoustic moments.
