Sor Juana And Her Divine Narcissus, 2021, 6:42
ABOUT THE TRACK
"Sor Juana And Her Divine Narcissus" is an extract of an audio/dance project produced by Verónica Mota Galindo
in collaboration with the dance and creative director Delphina Parenti (NYC). Both unite forces working on the long project: „Her Loveliness, Always Submerged“.
This audio/dance and visual project is a creative tribute to the great intellectual and cross gender individual known as Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz who was very rebellious, critical of Colonisation, Gender Roles and Racism within post-colonial Mexico. The great Sor Juana operated as writer, philosopher, composer
& poet of the Baroque period. This project will be released in Germany in 2021 as a result of a collaboration process under COVID-19. The whole sound design
will be released as a solo album soon.
