"We recently met at Dartington Hall in Devon, UK, with the intention of recording some collaborative improvised noise recordings, with your CARTES POSTALES project in mind.
We have met at Dartington before before, and love this social / arts college set in beautiful woodland alongside the River Dart. The Dart starts deep in Dartmoor National Park and works its way out to sea. The campsite where we recorded this sound is a rolling hill with views across the South Hams and across to Dartmoor. The track here is quite noisy; we have not met up in a while to record together and so months of creative efforts were poured out in a gnarly electronic soup. Plague Arish & Soloman Tump - "Dartington"
Recorded live at Dartington Hall campsite, Devon, UK, on Saturday 1st October 2022.
Trimmed, layered and slightly EQ'd afterwards by Soloman Tump.
Suspenseful and Eerie. Each track tells a story. Spirits haunting a boneyard and aliens scanning the wreckage of a battlefield are just some.of the images brought to mind. Michael
Very nice compilation of abstract experimental music of all sorts of styles. This has some incredibly interesting songs as well as some I really struggle with & I find really challenging... :) Love the cover too!It has an incredibly satisfying sense of perspective & depth! Thanks LS! Recommended! bmurator
I'm only 12 seconds into part 2 and I already have to pause to say, "Wow, what a journey!" These pieces are not limited to Earthly icy realms, either. Fascinating 🤯 Scott
With guest appearances from clipping., Nicolas Jaar, Angel Bat Dawid & more, “Rhizomes” is a dense experimental masterpiece. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 6, 2023
There are many wonderful artists in this compilation. Every track is a little gem. And the concept (1 minute for every artist) is suggestive.
A big thank you to LOUDsilence for this fantastic sonic journey.👍 mario1984
