Unable to choose any one photo, decided to use an bland image of a brick wall as the start, doctored in various ways & meant to be an invocation of the grid, Agnes Martin view, etc. etc. Also as doctored in Glitch Lab and later as used in Virtual ANS, a twist , a comment upon and a use of the notion of data sonification as a form of objectivity (which I severely doubt, as many many arbitrary choices intervene along the way to determine how and within what ranges said data is to framed and read, etc etc.), the quirks of the idioms that inhere within various programs (see above re choices), etc.
Similarly, the image is a rectangle made square, etc, with various distortions therein. Messed with in Glitch Lab and later on edited to be desaturated in color (Virtual ANS makes no real use of colors, only light and dark), lights and darks swapped for one another (ìinvertedî) and made even more contrasted in Virtual ANS, resized to exist within a certain pitch range. Not to mention set up to be read in VANS at about 32 times slower than usual, fade edit done toward the end. Etc.
Suspenseful and Eerie. Each track tells a story. Spirits haunting a boneyard and aliens scanning the wreckage of a battlefield are just some.of the images brought to mind. Michael
Very nice compilation of abstract experimental music of all sorts of styles. This has some incredibly interesting songs as well as some I really struggle with & I find really challenging... :) Love the cover too!It has an incredibly satisfying sense of perspective & depth! Thanks LS! Recommended! bmurator
I'm only 12 seconds into part 2 and I already have to pause to say, "Wow, what a journey!" These pieces are not limited to Earthly icy realms, either. Fascinating 🤯 Scott

There are many wonderful artists in this compilation. Every track is a little gem. And the concept (1 minute for every artist) is suggestive.
A big thank you to LOUDsilence for this fantastic sonic journey.👍 mario1984
